Barcelona in Three Acts

Catalonia’s declaration of independence is a good excuse to tell you about what happened when we visited Barcelona. Though it’s been a while and the telling of our adventure will start going back and forth chronologically, might as well get “back into action” by sharing our experience in those… interesting times. Updates Intermission I

A lot is going on with us, to the point where it can be overwhelming to experience and write about in the same week (and apparently, also a week after). So we’re giving ourselves some more time to think up a “proper” post, and in the meanwhile give you a short update about what we went through and what we plan to do next. It seemed that the further away we got from Cluj, the more the touch of the 21th century was disappearing. The style of the villages, the way the people dress, and of course the way the hay is collected. Continue reading “Pictures from Maramureș”

5+ Things to do in Cluj-Napoca

Previously you found us jumping from one place to another like crazy. Cancelled plans and bad luck left us with very little time to rest and just be, so we looked forward to the quiet week and a half of kitty-sitting that we expected to find in Cluj. Continue reading “5+ Things to do in Cluj-Napoca”
